When I used to use Ecstasy, I found that the following day, it made me feel better to drink lots of water, go swimming (keeps the body cool and the light exercise helps flush toxins out), eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and to take 5Htp, an over-the-counter supplement that works as a gentle anti-depressant. In fact, it's a good idea to take the 5Htp a couple of days BEFORE you plan to go out and party so that you already have some built up in your system and take 2 the day after.

I'll leave the lectures for another day as it would be a bit hypocritical of me.

The downer part of this is not really something you can get away from, you have used up all of your serotonin and it will take your body a while to recover.

Other people will annoy you so stay away from them

Trying to get things done will be difficult, so clear your day.

When I was a clubber, I very much took the next day as a duvet day. I made a nest of warmth and safety on my sofa with snacks and old films and a good book. I never really saw it as depression, more of a bit of me time.

It gives you heartburn because perhaps you are intolerant to an ingredient contained therein thus your heartburn is a result of bad digestion .... nothing is worth bad digestion and the heartburn that ensues .... that just robs you of all your nutrition because anything and everything you ingest on top of the offending ingredient will just sit there and rot.

it could be the honey that's upsetting your digestion .... honey literally burns the skin off my tongue and makes it red raw ...... and that's raw organic honey too ..... if you're using commercial acv and honey try the organic variety .... or vice versa .....if you then get no reaction problem solved.... if you get a worse reaction then that means that you are actually intolerant to either the vinegar or honey (if you react to the organic varieties) or an ingredient used in the processing (if you react to the commercial varieties).... i'd lay odds it's the honey.

heartburn is indicative of LoW stomach acid levels.... something is inhibiting digestion ..... ;0)

yes acv raw organic variety will definitely sooth low acid as it increases the production of hydrochloric acid in your tummy thus aiding digestion ...... and is very very good for you... IF you can digest it and are not intolerant to it or an added ingredient that you are ingesting with it..... in that situation digestion is just trashed and the only way to avoid the discomfort is to avoid the offending ingredient....;0)

good luck

I just started using raw apple cider vinegar in water with honey, and it gives me heartburn... I don't understand because I thought heartburn is something apple cider vinegar is supposed to actually remedy. It keeps my gallbladder from hurting, so I want to keep taking it. Does anyone know why it would give me heartburn or what I can do?
Minx, thanks for the suggestion but ACV gives me heartburn even without the honey. I normally have no trouble with indigestion except for on rare occasions when I overreat a lot of sugar. And like i said, it is helping with gallbladder pain, so it must be doing something good, once it gets past my stomach..?
Interesting website PT... it mentions ginger as being something else that stimulates digestion, ginger also gives me heartburn. You may be right about having too much acid!

Use some natural lotion and always use conditioner in the shower. When you go out in the sun bring a cap. If it's really bad I would make a compress of some herbs and a soothing oil of some sort. Take some lysine and Vitamin D and vitamin C to boost the immune system to help it heal. I personally have found a prescription of betamethasone to be good for healing the skin too. Hope that helps. Good luck.

It's not going to happen. Can you try turkey? It has L-Tryptophan which many know about, but what many don't know is that it's said to be able to cross the blood-brain barrier and stimulate the pituitary gland helping REM sleep. This isn't proven, but I always get deep deep sleep after having turkey for dinner!

It may be a Vitamin deficiency, but you have to ask your parents to check with your doctor about that.
Remember if your problem is a nutritional deficiency any drugs may only make your problem worse by treating symptoms instead of the cause! This is for you and your parents to decide, but looking for drugs to answer your problems may not be good for you.

Mice drinking goji berry juice (Lycium barbarum) are protected from UV radiation-induced skin damage via antioxidant pathways.

Abstract
The goji berry, Lycium barbarum, has long been recognised in traditional Chinese medicine for various therapeutic properties based on its antioxidant and immune-modulating effects. This study describes the potential for orally consumed goji berry juice to alter the photodamage induced in the skin of mice by acute solar simulated UV (SSUV) irradiation. In Skh:hr-1 hairless mice, 5% goji berry juice significantly reduced the inflammatory oedema of the sunburn reaction. Dilutions of goji berry juice between 1% and 10% dose-dependently protected against SSUV-induced immunosuppression, and against suppression induced by the mediator, cis-urocanic acid, measured by the contact hypersensitivity reaction. The immune protection could not be ascribed to either the minor excipients in the goji juice, pear and apple juice, nor the vitamin C content, nor the preservative, and appeared to be a property of the goji berry itself. Antioxidant activity in the skin was demonstrated by the significant protection by 5% goji juice against lipid peroxidation induced by UVA radiation. Furthermore, two known inducible endogenous skin antioxidants, haem oxygenase-1 and metallothionein, were found to be involved in the photoimmune protection. The results suggest that consumption of this juice could provide additional photoprotection for susceptible humans.

well umm ive done shrooms multiple times now and like 4 or 5 grams will make you feel like your in the mystery machine, eating scooby snacks with shaggy and scoob. i would say if u both saved up about like.. 50$ each and got like a 100$ worth/ like i would say get a half ounce and just get high. depeding on the strenght of the shrooms u get like if there good or not u will either hallucinate, or you will just laugh your a s s off the entire time! my only advice is make sure you chew them well. Enjoy!

Standard buttom mushrooms in season cost as little as $2 Kilo.
Other types of Mushrooms like Porchini or Chestnut cost considerably more and could be $10 kilo or more. Rarer types of mushrooms that have to be scavanged from forests can be $50 a kilo.

I'm sure a good restauranter would be able to answer this question.
Shouldn't it be posted in food and drink?
