Of course it's normal, You're using muscles in your hand that you maybe don't use very often, and you're pushing on chords and strings which may calluses in long term guitar players. They will prevent your finger pads from hurting though! you can buy wrist braces though if it bets too bad. Hope it helped!

Cramps are mainly due to hyper flex ion ,hypoxia or low blood salts.
There are different types of cramps like
- smooth Muscle cramp
- skeletal muscle cramp
- Menstrual cramp
- Nocturnal leg cramp.

Medication of vitamin b-complex, naftidrofuryl, and calcium channel blockers may be effective for muscle cramps. Quinine is likely effective for this indication however due to side effects its use should only be considered if other treatments have failed and in light of these concerns

See your health care provider as soon as possible (orthopedic). Noises in the joints, especially the knees, can be quite disturbing and cause concern. Often, these noises are not indicative of any underlying problem. Knee cracking and popping usually has a "bark that is worse than its bite." Such noise often persists for years without any real problem developing. If there is no pain with cracks or pops, you can assume it is being caused by the soft tissue in a joint.
Chondromalacia patella cause knee pain under the kneecap and is due to softening of the cartilage. It is most common in younger patients (15-35 years old).
Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) is another condition seen in adolescents due to the growth of the bone around the joint.
I hope this helps you. And good luck.

You really can't pull a muscle very easily but you can pinch the muscles in your back especially if you were doing the slip and slide thing. A pinched muscle in your back is going to affect other body parts and make them go into pain by pressing on the nerves as they leave the spine. Other muscles just tighten up and cause the pain. Here is how you can release your back muscles to get rid of the pain:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain at ease.

you probably pulled your oblique muscle which is also known as your side abs. Your body probably isn't used to making the movement from the slip n slide. Just rest it and it should be fine in a couple days. Going in the pool would be okay because it would relax the muscle, but don't overdo it in the pool and run around

You have some tight muscles there that need to be released. Going to a dr. might get you some pain pills or p.t., but not a real solution. They like to build muscle there but not good at releasing them. You can do this one yourself and it works quit nicely. I was surprised at how well it did when I used it. Here is how to release the muscles around your tailbone:
Lower Back, Lumbar:
While sitting place your hands behind your body just above the buttocks and press in on the muscles next to the spine and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your self forward as far as you can. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for another 30 seconds. Move a few inches down and do it again and keep repeating until you reach the end of your tailbone.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling, then remain at ease.

I suggest you to go see a doctor ASAP. Persistent pain for 3 months is not a good sign. Most likely your doctor will order XRAYs to see if it is broken or subluxated. Did you have any history of trauma?

Because you have hip pain as well I think your leg pain is caused by pinched muscles in your lower back. When the muscles are pinched there they can press on the nerves going to the legs and that pressure ends up in pain. Different movements make all the pain go to one point causing the pain to increase and when the pressure is off that point the pain diminishes. Here is how to release your back muscles to get rid of that pain:
You say your jaw is giving you trouble as well, kind of expected with the lower pain going on. The pain has caused you to tighten your jaw when the pain hits and it is giving the muscles in your jaw more than they are ready for and they are going into pain because of that. Once you release the muscles for your jaw the pain will be gone. Here's how to release them:
Jaw muscles, TMJ:
Put your fingers on your head so your thumbs are behind your ears. Press into the back of your jaw next to the skull and hold that pressure. After 30 seconds slowly raise your head until your neck is fully extended then open your mouth as far as you can. Release the pressure but hold your head and mouth like that for another 30 seconds.
For best results on these, relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain at ease.

Read the question and my answer just above yours. And yes, you do deserve some preaching. Are you aware that oxycontin is the most widely abused drug (because everyone becomes addicted, those who they are not prescribed for) and that it is extremely addictive? It's not much different than using heroin. Seriously, they are both opiates and oxycontin is the same as Methadone, which is used to detox heroin addicts. You are also hurting those of us who need these drugs for their intended purpose, to control the pain we try to live with every single day of our lives. Doctors are too afraid to prescribe this medication because of the high abuse rate on the street. Many people who suffer from chronic pain commit suicide because the pain is too hard to live with, believe me since I've been pretty close more than a few times. I can barely sit here and type, I can barely walk, I stay sick from the pain and it will cut my life short because of the stress the pain puts on my heart. That's a proven fact. There are thousands of people like me so when you choose to take that pill think of me and others like me and think about what you are doing to us. How you are contributing to the misery of our lives. And yes, not only can you enjoy the high so much you will eventually become addicted you also never know if you will wake up again since medications such as these are respiratory depressants.

yes, since you have been having this pain for about 24 hours now, i would say to go to the doctor. see someone associated with your military base...i had a tooth with roots in the sinus cavity.. gave me problems for years. always got a "tooth ache" in that tooth.. it was not the tooth.. it was sinus infection that was building up fluids into that tooth through the roots. i had root canal done on the tooth and had it capped and now as good as new. but that kind of pain is horrible.. have you tried anything that would reduce sinus fluid? such as over the counter sinus and allergy meds.. etc..
benedryl maybe... might be something with your sinus' like mine was.. good luck to you.. so sorry you have to endure this... feel better!!

Since you have seen a Dr, talk to him/her about what they recommend. There is a fine line between building a strong muscular structure to support a joint and wearing down more cartilage. Ask the Dr for a recommendation to a physical therapist who can teach you the right way to exercise.

Also, you should try giving your legs a break. That would help.

Since your headaches and migraines are caused by tight muscles in your neck I don't know. They are blocking the pathway to the brain as other meds do so the messages don't get to the brain. But the pain is still happening and there is a toll on your body for having those pains. You can get rid of them without those meds if you want to for all you have to do is loosen the muscles in your neck and the headaches will be gone. The muscles get so tight in the neck area that when the message is sent to the brain about it, the message is so intense all the brain feels is pain, your headache. My neck muscles were tight for over 30 years and this is what finally got me out of the pain. It may need to be done a few times but it is well worth it. Here's how to release those muscles:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your head. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. After 45 seconds, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
With your neck in the lowered position, replace your thumbs in under the ears and your fingers behind your head but right next to your skull this time. Press your fingers and thumbs together again and hold. Relax your body while waiting. When the muscles have all released, slowly lift your head until it’s level again, release the pressure but hold your head like that for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling.

sounds like you're overworking it, or, you're not getting enough potassium. Like you're getting a cramp in it, just relax your legs more often and get a little extra potassium.
