PLEASE READ THIS I KNOW ITS KINDA LONG BUT PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME OUT I REALLY NEED HELP :(

OK I get embarrassed ALOT and please note that I am allergic to cats dogs horses and I have asthma. Not because I'm shy but when I get embarrassed I start getting red rashes everwhere and little white bumps that look like mosquito bites appear where my arm bends at (opposite side of elbow). Also of course I blush...but that's not what agervates me, it's embarrassing even more because I start to sweat even if its freezing cold! I will be sitting in reading class when my teacher says wheres your homework....i dont have it....everyone laughs...and i dont know why i'm embarrassed by this but I just am for some reason....anyways....you begin to see my face reddin and red bumps appear all across my body. I begin to scratch unbearingly. Then the white bumps appear. Someone says : Stephen why is your neck so red? I get even more embarrassed since I can't explain it and begin to sweat. My voice is also very shaky when speaking in front of a class..

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! THIS IS RUINING MY LIFE!!!

People can get hives(those itchy little bumps) from stress. I get them too. I usually take benedryl for them. It helps a lot, not for its antihistamine properties but because it makes me sleepy and kind of relaxed. I calm down and the hives go away. Sometimes you have to repeat through out the day.

    That's who you are.
You are making a bigger deal of it then necessary.
    laugh it off.
Don't take benedryl. It is very addictive.

  4. I know exactly how you feel. My chest gets red just from answering a question in front of the class. I started with this last year when I was really stressed out and it has been happening ever since. I've looked up everything I can about it and it's just our way of blushing. Your bumps may be more extreme though. But please don't feel ashamed for what happens when you're nervous. It's just something that you will have to get over.

What I did was try to find what is making me so nervous. I realized that I had low self esteem. I was so afraid to talk infront of crowds. I never raised my hand in class because I knew if I spoke I would stutter or mess up. But now that I've been bold and answered no matter what, I've seen that it's not that bad.

All of our anxieties are in our head, really they are. We can control how we react to things. You may feel like you can't control it, but you can. You just have to keep trying. Think positive. Instead of sitting in class thinking "Oh god, I hope my teacher doesn't call on me" or "Oh no, I may have to read this out loud" Just try to focus on what your teacher is teaching and don't think negatively about yourself. You can be strong. You don't have to live your life in fear.

I really understand what you're going through because I've gone through it and I still struggle with it. But please promise me you won't get too worked up about it. And you can always talk to someone you trust about how you feel. It's not healthy to be so anxious. You shouldn't have to suffer like that.
I really hope you try and be calm and just think positively. Think to yourself that you won't get nervous today or that it's not so bad when people look at you or laugh. Just be strong and feel good about yourself.

If anything, please take away from this one thing, you don't have to live like this. You can get help either from trying yourself or from loved ones, teachers or anyone you trust :)
