Am I allowed to swim (in a pool) with a cast if I have the shower protector thingy?

Don't submerge it in the water, there's always the chance that little thing won't keep out the water. Just keep your arm above water and tred water or something. Best of luck, broken wrists are annoying!

I'm not sure, but if you do this, you should probably just get in the pool and keep your arm out of it - while wearing the protector, of course. You don't want to reinjure or have to get it recasted. So about all that you should be doing in a pool is just cooling off, anyway - certainly no swimming or diving, playing Marco Polo (or water polo).

Hello Smirk
I know what you are talking about and took a peek in your photo bucket file,as I tell patients Be Cool and Be Safe....I know the temperature is quite inviting for a dip,but if the cast gets wet,you will have to get a new one done ,meaning removing the one you have and going trough
X-Rays for positioning then casting again .Your pick........my advice soaking no sweat ! but actual swimming movements TSSK TSSKKindest Regards

You can swim with that just don't submerge it, if they disallow you in the pool you're going to, try a different one.
