I know i'm going to be getting alot of crap from people saying i'm stupid for taking so much bla bla bla. I have all four wisdom teeth growing in, the two bottoms are growing inward towards the teeth, pushing them in and causing tramendous pain that is unbarable. And my two top wisdom teeth are growing outward toward the part of my jaw or mouth bones that connect the bottom and top, and that is causing lots of weird and very uncomfortable pain. My top teeth broke through a bit, but the bottom teeth are still growing sideways inwards towards the other teeth. The top wisdom teeth had growin so much that it has cracked and broke my other teeth to bits. Now not only am I getting pain from the teeth growing in, I also got a painful infection on my top left molar that had cracked open. So I am in unbelievable pain. I read a blog about a man that went through the same thing and has the same problem as me when it comes to pain medication.
Now, a couple months ago, I had the worst pain in my life on the left side of my mouth with my wisdom teeth. It was so severe I felt like I was going crazy, my left side of my cheeks and mouth swelled up and the pain was shooting to my head and going down to my neck and to the back of my head and neck as well. They gave me vicodine wich seemed to help out, for a while, then one wouldn't work anymore so I had to move to two pills. After being done with those pills, they gave me numorous other pain meds from naproxen to oxycontine and some others I can't remember the name of. All the doctors would say they are strong and for me to becareful, most people would tell me the same thing because they say i took the same one before and one would knock me on my ass. I was like "ok", Took one, "nothing", took two, fine, helped for a bit. Now I got back to vicodine, two? Nope, didn't help the pain at all. Three? nope, I don't want to take anymore for sake of overdosing. So I havent slept for a couple weeks now and it's making me crazy.
The question is, why aren't all these strong pain medications working for me while it knocks someone out that is twice my size? and my dosages have been high. none helped, vicodine stopped helping, and the last couple times of taking the oxycontine, two wouldn't help me anymore, it would ware off in an hour. I read in that blog that the doctor had told the guy that was going through the same issue, that some people are naturally immune to pain meds, and some people just don't have the receptors in their brains for pain meds. What is wrong with me? I need help, my teeth are still killing me and i'm holding on for dear life it seems. Nothing has helped. Am I immune to pain killers??
