Am i stupid b/c i listen to my heart?

    so i met this guy at the library two whole weeks ago and he invited me to visit him on saturday and meet his mom etc ..so i really looked fwd to meeting him ...

    ... then 10 days ago when i actually got all dressed up and drove all the way there to meet him again, nobody was home! nobody answered the telephone! i left a note on the door ..but nothing

    i got so stood up

    I WAS SO MAD

    after ten days of hearing nothing from him .... today he called!

    he is really really good looking and i like the way he talks. he has nothing else going for him: no car, no money, he goes to a crappy high school, his family is totally dysfunctional, he lives 30 miles away ...

    i should just tell him to f*** off shouldn't i?

    but i kinda wanta see him

    i know i know ... i have set myself up for people to answer "yes u r stupid"

    You didn't say why he stood you up. If he gave you a good reason (someone died, car crash, amnesia) why he didn't call, give him another chance. Otherwise, you're selilng yourself short.

    GIVE IT A SHOT.. THE NOT CALLING FOR 10 DAYS WASN'T COOL, BUT HE MAY HAVE HIS REASONS. OFTEN SOME OF THE BEST BOYFRIENDS ARE MADE FROM GUYS WHO GO THROUGH THE SHITTIEST SITUATIONS. IT IS THOSE SITUATIONS THAT CAN USUALLY TURN THEM INTO S REAL MAN. I GREW UP FROM A BROKEN HOME, AND MOVED AROUND FROM PLENTY OF FOSTER HOMES, I DIDN'T HAVE A CAR TILL I WAS 18, NOR A JOB. MY GIRLFRIEND HAD TO DRIVE ME EVERYWHERE, PAY FOR A LOT OF THINGS. I WAS SO GRATEFUL JUST TO HAVE HER IN MY LIFE THAT I TREATED HER LIKE A PRINCESS WITH WHAT I HAD. THAT WAS 2 YEARS AGO, AND WE ARE STILL GOING STRONG.

    ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THEY CAN TURN OUT LIKE A REAL JERK, SO BE CAREFUL.

    He called, so what did he say, nothing? Maybe his family humiliates him, or he feels humiliated by them. Maybe there was family emergency. I have no clues here.
