Crest white strips do work very well and are worth buying.
But if you were to choose between going to the dentist and getting your teeth whitened there and white strips, it would obviously be better if you went to the dentist because their technology is so much better.

Or is whitening at the dentist better?

Hi Star,
The answer is that the dentist's alternative is better.
Whitestrips do work, but they take longer (about two to three weeks)
They are a one product fits all solution, while the dentist makes a mold that fits accurately around your teeth and no one else's.
The whitestrips can irritate the gums, since the bleaching product is not supposed to go onto the gums, while the dentist's trays keep the gel only around the teeth.
And finally, the bleaching gel is stronger so you see results in a week if you use it properly.
Hope this helps.
