Are my contact lenses still good?

I opened a new pair of contact lenses in the beginning of december last year. I only wore them once and they've just been sitting in my contact case with solution in it. It's February now and I haven't been messing with them but I'm thinking about wearing them again. They're the prescription type for my eye sight. Do you think they're still wearable since I only wore them once or should I throw them away and open a new pair?

yes, they should be good. Just try them on, if they hurt or they are blurry, throw em out.

you should open another pair because after opening contacts are only allowed to sit in contact solution for 30 days without wearing them. so it would be a good idea to open a new pair

i suggest you dont use it because it could get old and if it is sitting in solution it could get infected since it passed at least 2 weeks and a month of sitting in solution.Perhaps you ask a professional eye doctor to make sure.

The preservatives in your contact lens solution only stops bacterial growth for so long. Two months is too long and I would definitely use fresh lenses.
