bad sunburn on shoulders with blisters?

    but the blisters are popping on their own. is this ok? i am putting the after sun aloe lotion on, and using cold compresses every once in a while, but is it ok that they are popping on their own? how should i treat the popped blisters?

    It's okay that they are popping. There's no way to stop it anyway. The key thing to do is keep clean. As you know, you are losing your outer layer of skin, your best infection protection. Your aloe and cold compresses are good, just be sure everything is clean and sterile. If you get the tiniest indication of an infection starting, use a cream like Neosporin. In a couple of weeks it will all be healed.
