The best way to get endurance is running and doing sprints.. Yeah, you can swim and do all other sorts of activity but nothing beats old fashioned running... The longer you run the better you will get and your endurance, strength, breath, etc will increase....

As far as strength, I assume you have no weights... If not then stick with the basics, Situps/crunches, pushups, pull-ups, moneybars, etc which are required tests in the police academy anyways...

Running is the best thing for endurance, I'd get some weights too.
Btw, I was going to answer your other Q but, it was resolved, where I live bipolar (Or any other mental illness, including a history of self harm, and eating disorders.) is a disqualification.

  3. Upper body strength is more genetic, dear. I have none. I cannot do pull ups at all. Of course, I have a bad neck and shoulders.

Find somewhere in your house you can start pulling yourself up off the ground via your arms.

Push ups are another good way. Weight lifting helps. Are you old enough to remember monkey bars?
