Ran my hand under cool water for a while....put some ointment used for burns, and got a cool cloth wrapped lightly around it..............omg it burns it hurts!!!!!!!!! I'd hate to imagine a 2nd degree burn.

  5. ur methods of healing yourself is fine. my advice just let it hurt, do not cover it with anything since it will make the healing process slower. GET SOME SLEEP, sleeping a lot repairs your cells, so sleeping alot would help heal your burn faster. tip: when you burn yourself putting it on cold water, and then putting toothpaste on it would make it heal faster. Hope it helps

Perfect. The cool water stopped the thermal process and lessened the damage. If the skin is intact leave it that way. Some people advocate breaking the blister of 2nd degree burns. I do not. It is a hypoallergenic and sterile cover for the dermis. When it breaks on its own if you remove the skin keep the exposed dermis covered with a non stick gauze and an anti bacterial gel like bacitracin.
Take aspirin or aspirin based pain reliever for the pain rather than tylenol as it is an antinflammatory.
