Can CANCER in REPRODUCTIVE areas be HEREDITARY from Mother to Son and/or from Father and Daughter?

    Yess it can.!
    It will be passed down in your genes you inherit from your mom or dad.

    The only reproductive cancer I know much about is cancer of the ovary. I know that in some cases, there is a genetic risk of being more at risk of developing it - e.g. women should be checked in they have several close blood relatives who have / had the disease. But it isn't always the case that someone would be at an increased risk just because family member suffered.

    Yes it can, but it is rare. There are mutations in the BRCA 1 gene that increases risk for ovarian and prostate cancers among others. This may be passed down to a child, regardless of gender, by either the mother or the father.
