There's a catch to "Cell phone really give you cancer."
It can give you cancer, but the probability of someone getting cancer is different for everyone. In recent years, geneticists have found genes that made people carrying them more vulnerable to certain disease/harm, in this case, radiation or cancer or both at the same time.
Just a few days ago, there was report saying that the latest cell phone cancer study was inconclusive, unsurprisingly, really. But I would still keep my cell phone as far as I can accept, afterall, the best way to eliminate the chance of developing cancer is to have zero risk.

The World Health Organization (WHO) issued a warning about long term cell phone use and cancer risk in 2009. The warning was based upon a multi-year study that correlated increased incidence of brain tumors to long term cell phone exposure.
Consumers were always told that cell phones were safe, but we now know that they are not. (see article below)
