Can he get a transplant?

It will depend on how far advanced in liver disease he
is and whether or not the doctors believe he can
withstand the long hours of surgery (with his heart
condition). They sometimes do multiple organ
    transplantations at one time.

If you want to read about the transplantation
process for both the liver and the kidney,
here are a couple links you can click on:

My son's father was in a very bad automobile accident back in 2009. Since then I have come to find out that not only have his kidneys failed but he has congenital heart failure and his liver is shot. With all these medical issues will he still be eligible for a kidney transplant? I thought he couldn't get one if there were other severe medical problems. According to his attorney (we had to go to court for child support recently), my son's father has an appointment to get evaluated for a kidney transplant. But wouldn't he be rejected with all of his issues? Please let me know as I'm very curious as to how this all works.

It will be up to the transplant team to determine his eligibility.

I received a kidney and pancreas transplant in 2005. The first hospital would not even evaluate me (I don't know why). I was approved at the second hospital, which was a better transplant center anyway. I also had heart disease, but not congestive heart failure.

Obviously, someone at the transplant center thinks he is at least healthy enough for an evaluation, or they would not bother setting that up. The evaluation itself is fairly extensive and it would be determined at that point if he is healthy enough for surgery.
