i went to the dentist about a month ago to get a filling in my front tooth.
He filled it no probelm i went home and looked at it and my front tooth was a little chipped
i wasnt to happy about it i just let it go! i was just happy my cavity was filled and then i returned to the dentist telling him that it still hurt! and it shouldnt hurt i paid 250 for one cavity with no insurance.
and now he wants me to make another appointment so he can refill it and i do not want him to do it again. it should been done the first time right!! now what should i do go there and ask for my money back? i really need it filled and i want someone esle to do it that actually knows how to fill a cavity.
will they just give me my money back?
Thanks JAKE!! well he is a friend of my family, but he is a A** ! last time i went there he worked on my mouth when my face was swollen. and im only 18 so maybe he will be nice about it and give me my money back i really really dont want him touching my teeth again! plus he overcharges! but thanks for the advice it was very helpful and i know courts dont do anything they just waste peoples times.
THANKS :)

Hello..OK, to begin with their should be no cracks in the dentures at this stage....What you need to do is "Do Not" give the dentures back to the dentist...You immediately call the Sate Dental Board and file an official complaint...The Board will set you up with a member of the Peer Review Board and the Peer Review Board has the ability to do one of three things..(1) require the dentist to remake the dentures at his expense..or..(2) Require the dentist to pay another dentists to make you a new set..or..(3) Require the dentist to give you a complete refund....Call and file your complaint ASAP..Good luck and I wish you well.

No they wont. It would most likey have to go to small claims court to get your money back. Good luck!

They are definitely in the wrong here! You should get your money back. If they will not give you your money back, I would certainly suggest that you begin looking into your legal options (sueing).
Good Luck to you! :D
