You can only get Hep C with a blood-to-blood exchange.

I just went thru treatment for Hep c. It is a blood borne disease. My wife and I have been married for 24 yrs. unprotected sex with no problems. My Dr. says it is a 1% chance.

Hep C is NOT transmitted through saliva or casual contact. Hep C is transmitted through blood to blood contact, such as sharing needles for drug use. It can also be transmitted through sharing razors and toothbrushes, tattoo needles/ink, and piercings. It is rarely transmitted through unprotected sex. You can touch, hug, or kiss someone, or share drinking glasses and eating utensils, without getting infected. Your daughter is not at risk from what you describe.
