Smelly breath will most certainly affect your social life. Put yourself on the receiving end for a minute...Here's the problem. What is the origin of the smelly breath or 'halitosis'. The main causes are: 1) Underlying gum disease or 'periodontitis' 2) Badly decayed teeth or food being trapped between teeth 3) Infected or blocked sinusses (post-nasal drip) 4) Infected tonsils or adenoid glands 5) Infections in the lungs.
What to do: Get your teeth and gums checked out by a dentist asap. Improve your oral hygiene (flossing, brushing and mouth rinses),,, always a good idea even if this is not the source of your troubles
Schedule an appointment with your GP if the above does not resolve your problem. Really no need to potentially embarrass yourself or others with a rather common and easily cured affliction.
Good luck
