Can you kill the bacteria in raw meat by making it go below a certain temp.?

    We all know about cooking food and the temperatures they must be reached (135, 145, etc.)

    But is there a freezing method to killing the bacteria? I imagine if they have discovered it that it is in the far -'s and I am just a curious chef/culinary student
    And please dont mention the acidity from citrus can kill it, I already know that

    freezing it can kill pathogenic bacteria. it has to be very cold, -5 Celsius at the warmest
