Can you use surgery to correct lazy eye?

    My lazy eye was corrected with eyeglasses.

    "lazy eye" is a lay term usually referring to "amblyopia" or poor acuity even with best Rx:

    but many patients are confused and assume that a lazy eye is one that points in or out or up or down. technically thats not "lazy eye", thats strabismus:

    surgery can sometimes lessen or correct strabismus (certainly not always tho, as is assumed by many). there is no surgery for amblyopia
