i have been having pain in the left side of my mouth so i went to the dentist and he told me he wants me to get all four of my wisdom teeth out this summer to see if that gets rid of the tooth sensitivity he doesnt know what else it could be so he wants to try this first. He thinks it could be those teeth coming in and pushing up against the other ones. Is it a good idea to get them out or should i wait?
    Additional Details:
the cold sensitivity has gotten a little better but is it still a good idea to take them out?

Pain in your mouth is never a good thing, and usually there's a good reason for it. If the dentist showed you the xrays that will tell you where and which wisdom teeth are impacting on the others causing you pain. Tooth sensitivity is a separate issue, and you may have to deal with it by using tooth paste like sensodyne. Over time your teeth will become less sensitive (but I suffer from the same thing and mine will always be sensitive). If you are getting constant dull pain in one specific area it's likely to be one of those naughty wisdom teeth. It's ultimately up to you, but when one of mine impacted (it was dull constant pain), I decided to get all four out at once, and no regrets there. Glad to have them gone.
