Could drinking on anti-depressant medication hurt me?

    I take Bupropion the generic for Wellbutrin... i dont know why i have the generic, im getting the actual one soon...any ways if i had one beer on this medication could it harm me? i took the medication at 10 in the morning and its 9 at night now. only one beer hurt me?

    No 1 beer is fine,it's good to do the things you enjoy, it shows you are getting back into the normal patterns of your life,you should do the things you enjoy.Just don't get drunk.
    Side note generic meds are exactly the same as the brand names,the ingredients are exactly the same
    drug which is produced and distributed without patent protection. The generic drug may still have a patent on the formulation but not on the active ingredient;see link.
