if you have green mucus coming out that means you do have an infection and you will need to get to a doctor so they can prescribe a antibiotic to fight the infection, also start putting very warm wash clothes on your nose to help it to drain and loosen. If you have any vick's vapo rub in your house, try sniffing in each nostril but do not get it inside your nose, also do this prior to a warm shower and you may want to use the warm clothes and vicks several times aday, but you do need the anti biotic.

use a nasal rinse, treat your symptoms, drink lotsa water, run a vaporizer when you sleep, wash your hands better, and see your docxtor.

It could be. Either way it's a good idea to get it check out asap. Reason? I recently had this issue, only my headaches were very, very persitent and painful mirgraines. Three er visits, two doc visits and an mri later they found it it was a deep cavity sinus infection that had spread to my brain. Sounds crazy but it can and does happen. It's very unpleasant and a very long recovery ( at least for me) when it does. So be smart and see a doc!

It doesn't sound like a sinus infection, if that is the only symptom you are having...

Sure, it is a possibility. Describe your symptoms to a pharmacist, and she/he can recommend an over-the-counter treatment. If you don't improve, call your doctor. Good luck!
