Could this be more than just a cold?

I have never been sick with a cold during the spring and summer months in my life, but I just came down with what I think is a cold... I have a sore throat (it has that dry burning feeling), and I'm incredibly weak and it's hard to stand for a length of time or even walk through the house. My lymph nodes are a little swollen, and so are my tonsils. No fever or nasal congestion, though.

I don't have health insurance, so I'm hoping this is just a cold... I'm just wondering if anyone knows if this sounds like the symptoms could be something else so I might know what to keep an eye out for in case I do have to cough up $60+ to go to the doctor. :/

Sounds like a cold. Drink alot of water and rest as much as possible. Developing a high fever is a sign to see a doctor, or if your symptoms serverly worsen.
