I am suspected of having CVPT. I will be undergoing tests shortly to ascertain if this is correct. This condition is usually diagnosed in childhood, but CAN be diagnosed in adulthood. I'm 44. I'd like to know if you...or someone you know..was diagnosed in adulthood. If so, I'd like to know if the symptoms were always there, or dveeloped in adulthood. These things cause my heart to go crazy: loud music, especially heavy bass, epinephrine, and any adrenaline surge. I'm not sure when the latter two developed, but when I was younger (20's) I used to go to clubs, which of course had LOUD music with VERY HEAVY BASS, and never had problems them. I guess my biggest question is...if diagnosed in adulthood, were the symptoms always there?
