Did I burst a blood vessel or do I just have bloodshot eyes?

  1. I was at a uniform inspection this morning and actually ended up fainting from a bad combination of lack of sleep, low blood sugar, nerves, and heat.
I'm fine now, but I was looking in the mirror and noticed that there's, like, a red stripe from my tear duct to my iris, along with quite a bit of visible blood vessels surrounding it.
I'm not sure if it's possible to be bloodshot in just one small area, but I found it strange that it was in the exact same location on each eye.
Is it even possible to burst a blood vessel from fainting?

From what you are describing, it seems that it's just that your eyes are bloodshot. It is possible to be bloodshot in only one part of your eye. If the blood vessel had burst, you would notice more of a smear of red over that part of the eye.
