not at all. once you get used to them you don't even notice them. you can get help from your optician the first few times to ease you into it. They only hurt if you get a particle of dust/dirt in them, when you put that in your eye it's murder. just keep them clean.

Not at all, especially if your eye Dr fits them properly to your eye and you take care of them appropriately. I've been wearing contacts for 17 years and they are so much better than glasses! The only time a contact should ever hurt while in your eye is if there's debris or fuzz on the contact or a tear in the contact. If this happens, you will know immediately because it will hurt. Other than that, if fitted properly, contacts should not hurt at all. You shouldn't even feel them when in your eyes. Good luck- I hope this helps!

They do not. You may notice some lens awareness for the first few days as your eyelids adjust to blinking over the edge of the contact, but after that, they will only be painful if there is something wrong - an infection, dust in the eye, torn lens. Follow your optometrists guidelines and you should be just fine.
