I went to the movies with my mother and sister and we saw Shutter Island. I'm not going to spoil it for you guys but there were Lobotomies involved. Lobotomies were used to make the part of your brain that handles emotions and feelings (anger,rage,feelings, etc.) inactive. I wanted to know if doctors still do lobotomies on patients or are lobotmies rare in this case?

Not anymore for almost any reason. Also remember shutter island was based in the past.
