You would know if it was chicken pox- you'd be itching like crazy! Do you have exzema or psoriasis? Chicken pox don't have the pus in the middle, unless you've scratched them bad & they are infected. I would take the stuff that your mother bought, take it to the dr., and see what happened. You also might report your "rash" to the makers of the stuff she bought; they should probably know of the reaction that it seems you got. You might also call poison control; they can tell you by the name of the stuff & what's in it, maybe why you're having this reaction & what to do for it.
1 more thing- don't stay in a hot tub for longer than 15-20 min. at a time- dries out your skin horribly. Use lots of GOOD lotion afterward.
