If the pain is isolated to one area of your body then you don't have fibro. And to be properly diagnosed you have to have blood tests and other tests to rule out EVERYTHING else (arthritis, deficiencies, lupus etc). Then you have to have so many tender points that are extra sensitive to touch.
If he thinks you have fibro then I would go somewhere else because he doesn't seem to be looking for a real cause, he just wants to give you pain pills so you will go away. Just my opinion.
