Okay, I can never read the board in class, and my friends can read the posters across the room, but I can't. I can also see better with my mom's glasses on. At night, when I look at lights, they have like rays coming out of them. Could these be signs that I need glasses??

you should check a eye doctor or whatever those people are called. if you can't see the board and you want to do well in school you should get glasses xD

Yes, if you can see better with your moms glasses on you should get your eyes checked. And the lights with rays coming out of them, everybody sees that, its called staring.

One sign you might need glasses having a hard time seeing the board in class.
I had the same problem in class, couldn't see the board in class. I told the teacher and was moved to the front. That same day I was checked out by the school nurse. My mother was nofifted about my eyes. With in days I had an appointment for the eye doctor and it turned out I needed glasses. After getting my glasses I could see a lot better.
Make sure you tell your parents you can't see good and get your eyes checked out, the sooner you get your eyes check out the better.

It sounds like you need an eye exam and then the eye doctor can determine whether you need eyeglasses or not. I suggest explaining to your parents that you are having trouble seeing the board in class and ask them to set-up an eye exam for you.
It sounds like you do need eyeglasses for distance vision, but the only way to know for sure is to have an eye exam.

Possibly, you may only need glasses for long-distance, best idea is to probably see an optometrist or some eye care professional
