do rubber bands on braces hurt a lot?

    im getting them soon and want to know if they hurt really bad. -__-ive heard that they do
    no i do not mean spacers. but thx anyway.lol

    at first, they wont hurt. but as u wear them longer, they start to give u this sore feeling which then would most likely cause u pain. lol sorry to say but yes, they eventually hurt =[

    They don't hurt you just cant open your mouth all the way

    your jaw would hurt. i don't have them yet but my brother just got them on 3 days ago. and he said that is jaw is still a little sore today.
    but it also depends on what size rubber bands you get. my friend has rubber bands that are really small (she said her mouth "hurt like hell"), and my brothers are much bigger.

    your jaw would hurt. i don't have them yet but my brother just got them on 3 days ago. and he said that is jaw is still a little sore today.
    but it also depends on what size rubber bands you get. my friend has rubber bands that are really small (she said her mouth "hurt like hell"), and my brothers are much bigger.

    They might hurt at first, but eventually your jaw will get use to them and it should no longer hurt
