Methicillin-resistant Staphlococcus aureus(MRSA)is a Staph infection that can kill you if not treated by a doctor or hospital. The antibiotic, Methicillin once did a good job of fighting the infection, but its lost its strength, and other antibiotics are being used, but may not be effective. You should do research to learn more about MRSA. Go to Google and type in Search, "MRSA Infection."

  2. it's the acronym for MRSA....you can pick it up anywhere it's a serious bacterial infection that is resistant to the most common antibiotics, it needs to be treated immediately, and can be diagnosed by culture...it can be deadly if not treated appropriately, and in time...

It is a drug resistant form of staph infection that affects the skin. I believe it might be also called flesh eating virus.

A friend of my sister's young daughter had this and we were all praying and it was touch and go for a period of time, but she pulled through. It was a very scary time.

If you suspect you have anything of this nature or anyone you love has this, run do not walk to the nearest specialist. Go to the best of the best and do not stop.

Take care, keep wounds and injuries clean. At the first sign of infection, go to the EMR.
