Do you prefer wearing glasses or contacts and why?

Contacts - glasses make me feel constricted as I cannot see well unless I am looking through the lens. Glasses are like having a box on your face and you can only see as long as you don't look outside the frame of the box(which doesn't give you much room).
Contacts are similar to wearing nothing over your eyes at all. I find them comfortable, easy to put in, and easy to take out. I use the brand Acuve Oasis. The care needed for them is rather time consuming, but I can always switch between glasses and contacts - glasses at home and contacts when I go out. Eyedrops specific for contact lens help with dryness so I have no problem.
The only problem I really have with contacts is how expensive they are and how often they need replacing.

i prefer wearing contacts because it is like having 20/20 vision again

i don't use either cuz i can see good, but it seems kinda creepy to stick ur fingers in ur eye. what if you push to hard? then you cant'see at all i would think

Glasses. I've never tried contacts (and never will) but I know that they would be so uncomfortable for me. I can't even touch my own leg without freaking out, let alone insert something into my eye. And how do you take it out? That would be very uncomfortable.. Glasses are awesome because you can take them off and put them on with ease. I'm shortsighted so I only need them occasionally anyway...

I wore contacts briefly a few years ago, but found them uncomfortable. My eyes are inclined toward dryness, so I was very conscious of the lenses every time I blinked or even glanced to the side. At the time I was playing with a band, so I was often in smoky bars, which exacerbated the discomfort. After a few months, I decided to invest in multiple pairs of glasses so I'd be able to change my look to match my outfits or moods. As it happened, people thought I looked hip in glasses so I never looked back! And Zenni Optical, the online prescription glasses store, is my favorite place to shop. Prescription glasses for as little as $8!? Sign me up!
