Does it hurt to get braces?

    I'm getting braces in, like, two days, but I'm wondering does it hurt? From what I've heard they're glued on and when they're tightened it will be like a headache in my mouth. Is the pain really bad? I hope not. Oh and I'm getting pink and green ones! :D
