She probably wouldn't notice it except her brother gets invited a lot. People are afraid to be responsible for her, her pump, and correcting a high or low. I get that, but it bothers her. She's 7. I host plenty of sleepovers to compensate, but it doesn't totally solve the problem.

Does/did your diabetic child not get invited to sleepovers? How do you handle it?

Sleepovers or as we used to call them Pajama Parties are much overrated. I never liked going and never asked my mother to hostess them.
I never invited guests until I got in University then people wanted to come visit the ranch! I never invited or encouraged my children to have them either. Mostly our house was too crowded as it was with 3 children in it.
