I'm 14 years old, female. I don't know if this is called Varicose Veins, that's color purple on the back of my knee. It's not that large, but it's visible. I want to get rid of it because it don't looks good. I have this last summer, 2009. Maybe it's because of my 2 and a half hours I've been standing and walking to get to school and back to home everyday for almost 2 years. What do you think is the cause? And what is the best and other solutions to remove or lighten this except for surgery or lasers? But maybe if I get older and have money, I will do. But for now, what is the best way? It sounds like spider veins. To hide them, I would suggest the kind of makeup that hides tattoo's. It works wonders! Kat Von D has her own line. Just google tattoo makeup! :)

Vericose viens occur because your muscles are not strong enough to keep the blood flowing well.
