got bands on my braces and I need to know...?

    My orthodontist told me to change my bands EVERYTIME I eat or brush my teeth,
    What if I JUST put new bands on and went to get food, Would I still need to put on new bands?
    I can't get ahold of my orthodontist to ask him?

    No, that's not necessary. I would change them at every meal time and not count snack times. If you have a snack between lunch and dinner, I would put back on the ones from lunch. 3+ times a day is probably sufficient.
