I recently went hiking, and I got a sting on my arm. At first it itched a little bit, and looked like a regular mosquito bite. Later, it began to throb and now my arm feels weak, and when I try to make a fist, it is hard to do so. I don't think it could be a tick bite because there was no tick embedded near the bite area, and no redness that looked like a "bullseye".
Could this happen with a mosquito bite? And if not, what could it be?
Should I go to the doc or wait and see what happens?
