    it all over again?

Ok, I have had a cold for nearly 2 wks, it finally came to a head Monday night into Tuesday where I had a fever of 102-103 (taken care of w/aspirin). I thought that was to be the end of it and now I was just suddenly hit with fatigue, really sore throat and breathing difficulties.

Anyone else ever go through this?

FYI: Please don't tell me to see a doctor, I am w/o medical coverage and finances for such an expenditure unless I am virtually on my death bed and even then that may be cheaper to manage. I'm just asking if anyone else has been through this, thanks.

medical coverage or not! i would see a doctor! they cannot refuse you treatment. and it sounds like swine flu which you can die from if not treated. good luck :oP

  3. Sorry to hear you are feeling ill. Colds are viruses, and they don't respond to
antibiotics. However, once your system is run down with a cold you can develop
a "secondary infection" which is often bacterial, such as strep throat, pneumonia,
and so on. These things DO respond to antibiotics. In this country, it is a shame
to find people without healthcare, but you really should have somebody check
you out. Do you have a clinic or health department nearby ? I hope you feel
    better soon.
