Have you ever worn glasses and then years later not have to any longer?

    I wore glasses almost all my life till 2004 when i had Lasik Surgery.Haven't had to wear glasses ever since.

    I wore glasses when I was in the first and second grade then didn't need them any more till last year,
    age caught up with me.:(

    I could not be that lucky, but my husband was, he was farsighted all his life and then around the early 50s they told him he didn't need glasses for that any more, just for reading.

    Farsightedness can correct itself, so ive been told...but nearsightedness cant. So it is possible to have vision spontaeneously correct itself.
