I have always had random allergic reactions but now they are just coming like crazy! I take allergy medication and I have never had problems with it. I think that it might be because my dog shares the bed with me. I'm not allergic to any food but I am allergic to practically everything outside (plus I have asthma) and I am extremely allergic to cats and bunnies, but not allergic to dogs. Please tell me it you have a clue what it is!!!

It may be the stuff coming in the house on your dog. Everytime he/she goes out they are bringing back pollen, weed stuff, grass, anything in the air outside sticks to their coats, then when he's on your bed you are getting it. Puppy may have to get used to sleeping on his own bed. I'm an animal lover myself, 2 dogs, 2 cats BUT when I think about the stuff the dogs get into in the yard - ick - onetime the little dog rolled where a groundhog had been hanging - and I don't let them on the bed unless it's for a few minutes of play and I'm washing the bedding that day. I too have "outdoor" allergies - make sure you get rid of all air fresheners and scented body products including but not limited to soaps, perfumes, hairspray, deoderant, etc. You need to stay plain. Get an air purifier, they sell them very inexpensively either in stores or on HSN - but not the ionic ones as that can irritate your airway/sinuses if you are ozone sensitive (I am, worked with allergist to figure this out). Also, see your doc if none of these work as there are immune disorders that can be treated which cause allergy problems. My triggers are dust, new carpet fumes, molds, the biggies anyway so I wear a surgical mask (Rite Aid - cheap) to help block and got a purifier for my laundry room where I didn't realize the white dust on the cinderblock was actually a type of mold (should have seen me one day, went in fine, came out with eyes watering, throat swelling and "gurgling"). Again, when cleaning, where a mask and stay away from scented products, use wipes instead of sprays when possible, i.e. windex,, pledge, swiffers. Good luck, see an allergist.

Try taking Quercetin, it is a natural antioxidant found in foods such as berries, and it helps relieve allergies

I'm going thru the same thing and a friend of mine said you will have to go to your doctor and take an allergy test which consists of lots of shots. You may have to take strong otc allergy medicines for right now. I use Benadryl usually, but right not I use Claritin because I'm pregnant. Benadryl is stronger. Just use whatever antihistamine works for you and keep a bottle of them on you at all times!!!!
