I'm getting new glasses soon and I need some help with deciding which one I want? The glasses that I have right now seem way too wide for my face. I'm pretty sure I have a round face shape, and I have Asian eyes & an Asian nose lol :s. Personally, I like black, framed glasses but if you guys have a better suggestion please go on & suggest it! Thank you so much! <3
___and yes, i do try them on before but i have terrible eyesight and i don't wear contact lenses while trying them on so i can't really see anything, and my mom doesn't really give a lot of opinions, she says she's fine with whatever i choose as long as i like it.

If you have a round face shape then it is recommended that you go for square lenses. If you choose glasses with small lenses then they will not look too big for your face.

I think that black frames might be a bit too severe for your face so you maybe go for softer colours.

An optician should be available to help you choose glasses that are right for you and that suit your face.

    Hope this helps.

You know you can try on the frames before you buy them don't you? Choose whichever one you think looks best on you and take someone(e.g. a friend) so he/she can give his/her opinion.

I agree with the poster who said squarer lenses would probably complement your round face. And black glasses are classically hip.

Since prescription glasses are rather expensive, there's a website where you could get several pairs for very little money, which would allow you to change your look to suit your mood or match your outfit. I started buying my glasses there a few years ago, since you can choose from hundreds of frame styles starting at $8. And the descriptions of frames tell you whether the glasses are wide, narrow, etc. All you have to do is choose a frame style and color and enter the information from your prescription, then the glasses arrive in the mail a couple weeks later. I'm up to twelve pairs, including sunglasses. Here's a link:
