Nettle tea should help. Things that help the pain are mugwort - smoked or drank in tea. Damiana can help with the depression. And regular exercise and healthy diet will help.

Are there any herbals I can take to help my period stop? It's been going on for an abnormally long time now. Been to the doctor and they said nothing is wrong that they can find. I'm desperate to make the bleeding stop at this point!

No, listen to your doctor's advice. Herbs are used to flavour food, many of the so-called 'herbal remedies' are a concoction of goodness-knows-what that are blamed for kidney failure.

Try not to use the word 'desperate' in your posts (even if you are). Alt med scammers see this and instantly think there's the potential to make a profit.

Nettle tea ...... go to the healthfood store and get some loose leaf organic nettle tea .... that will help to dramatically stem excessive bleeding ...... simply brew up a pot of tea (one teaspoon full per cup) and let it steep for 10 minutes .... and sip on around 3 cups of that daily for a few days.... please ensure that you still drink lots of water as it can act as a natural diuretic ...... and don't listen to the toxictrolls in here who try and bully you to delete your question and are incredibly rude..... organic loose leaf nettle tea is incrediby rich in vitamin K and will help stem excessive blood flow...... it will also help to relieve menses cramping, bloating, constipation, headaches and migraines and moodiness and irritability...... it will help to stimulate hair and nail growth , improve kidney function and neutralizes uric acid, preventing its crystallization, aiding in its elimination from the system, thus relieving gout and arthritis. Nettle is useful as a tea for anemic children, due to its nutritive value. Nettle is also high in minerals such as iron, calcium, sulfur, sodium, copper, manganese, chromium, and silicon. Nettle is also a blood purifier and assists in lowering blood pressure.

I really haven't heard of any herbs that help stop your period, but I have heard that chamomile can help alleviate stomach cramps. I also know that regular exercising can help decrease the duration and heaviness of your period. Hope this helps. Otherwise, you would have to result to some form of birth control to help you regulate it.
