I really need to stop wearing my glasses all the time, but when I take them off, my eye aren't adjusted to them. Any ways to break this Habit?

  2. If you need the glasses for correcting vision problems, I would say wearing them is actually a good thing.

Drop them from a waterfall and you can't afford to get new ones for a while. I know it works.

Start taking them off in small increments, when you need them the least. Like if you can read with your glasses off, try it. Slowly, your eyes will get stronger. Try to take them off for a half hour a day total to start with and work from there. Also try doing things without glasses that you think you need them for more, but NEVER driving, obviously. For example, if you cannot see the TV all that well without glasses, try watching a show without them, squinting when necessary. Slowly begin to squint less frequently. Be patient and stick with it, as you probably won't see results immediately. I know this method works from personal experience. After a month of doing this, I can spend 4-5 hours total during the day without my glasses. Hope this helps!

What LaVern C said is basically right, wear your glasses only when you really need them. It depends what is your problem, because if you need your glasses to read, it is not recomended not to wear them while reading at all, it will just put more preasure on your eyes. But you can try just walking around your house without glasses and maybe sometimes outside.

In addition you should try some relaxation exercises like Palming from Bates' Method when you are without your glasses.

Search for Bates' Method or Yoga for your eyes.
