Eat foods naturally rich in vitamin A
Carrots, Milk, Mangoes, Spinach, are just a few off the list.

If I knew the answer to that, I would have done it years ago.

no way you can correct your short sightedd without glasses , contacts or LASIK. Vitamin A and other healthy food has nothing to do with refractive error.
One best thing you can do is avoid reading books, watching tv , using computers at closer distance(if you do so your short sidhtded will be keep on increasing for sure.)Posted 2 years ago # -
I really wonder why so many keep asking this same question over and over.
How come it isn't obvious that if there was some trick to improving or reversing nearsightedness , ( or shortsightedness as the UK says ) wouldn't every one would be doing it, instead of wearing glasses and contacts ?
The first answer tells you to eat vitamin A...which will do absolutely nothing to improve your vision...that is just another uninformed myth.
So, sorry...there is really nothing you can do about it , you are growing and your eye is changing shape. You can't stop that from happening.

Short sighted or near sighted?

Footprintz raises a good point.
Seriously, people, you're not the first person to think this question up. Same thing for "can I get nonprescription contacts?"
Sometimes I think teenagers should be prohibited from the internet.
For the last time, (or until tomorrow when someone else asks this) there are no dietary supplements, nor eye exercises that will give you better vision. None. Nothing. Zilch. Zip. Zero.
