How can I stay hydrated with diarrhea?

No, going to the hospital isn't worth it, probably they'd charge like $500-1000 for that, if not more. Also you just don't want to let yourself get dehydrated enough for hospital care at any point, it's very bad for your kidneys and rest of your body.
Just take small sips of liquid as often as possible. Vitamin water is OK, maybe try watering it down though. It's pretty sugary so it might upset your stomach more if you drink it plain. Maybe a glass of that then a glass of water alternated?
Sounds like you're probably coming down with something- maybe mild food poisoning or stomach virus? That would explain the nausea. Just drink as much as you can.

  2. I've been having pretty liquid diarrhea since yesterday. When I drink water I feel sick, like I'm gonna throw up. I have no gatorade, but I do have vitamin water. I am home alone and my mom won't be back for like 7 hours.
I ate yesterday, 3 meals, which is unusual for me (eating disorder), and I don't know if that's the cause and I should not eat so much.
Anyway, how can I keep myself from getting too dehydrated?
If I get too dehydrated how much would it cost to get an IV at the hospital? Drinking makes me feel nauseous, I'm wondering if it's worth it since I don't mind needles.

See a doctor if this continues for over a week with no sign of it getting better. Drink lots of electrolytes, you can find them at a drugstore. If you really hate water then drink lots and lots of tea, since it has natural contents that will make you feel better. Try to rest. If your hungry then eat. If not then don't, don't stress about the number of meals you're having now because you are losing all of your meals quite quickly so you won't put on weight. Do not induce vomiting. Keep an air filter because it might be something in the house (fungi etc.). Just try your best to stay calm and only go to the hospital at last resort if it's an emergency!

I think you need to go and see the doctor. If you have an eating disorder than it is likely your body is automatically rejecting anything it consumes. That's what happens. Go and see your doctor and get help for your eating disorder. In the mean time, go to your local chemist and ask for some de-hydration formulae. It's a powder that you put into water (different flavours) and it replaces any vital nutrients and vitamins that you have lost. It also hydrates you. The only problem with getting an iv straight away is 1 it's expensive 2. it's the eating disorder that's causing the problem. Anyway good luck with everything.

you could try pinching the skin on your forearm, if that skin doesnt immediatly snap back into place,(it takes longer that 2-3 seconds) you are severly dehydrated and might need to go to the E.R.
However, it would cost quite a bit so I wouldn't go unless you really are dehydrated.
