How Do The Cigarette Industry Sleep At Night?

    They know that they sell millions of people a product that will likely kill them, so why don't they seem to feel guilty? And why do they add even more addicting chemicals to cigarettes, when nicotine that naturally occurs in tobacco is addictive enough? And why do they add carbon monoxide to tobacco?

    The plain and simple answer to that is : MONEY
    As a wise man once said : Everyone is greedy, its just who can control it.
    These companies make billions of dollars every year from doing what they do...Why should they stop.
    I'd imagine their excuse is that people have a choice to start smoking, i suppose, although they get you hooked. I dont smoke, but i agree with your argument and I just hope you dont start, and waste 10 dollars a week on them

    They can sleep b/c they make so many billions of $$. That can buy great beds, great sheets, great meds, whatever it takes. Ppl in that industry also seem to have slightly (or significant...) sociopathy. That means they don't give a sh*t about other humans as long as they benefit. Not all sociopaths are stereotypical serial killers. Most work in business and industry.
