How long does it take for your pupils to go back to normal size after they have been dialted?

    it's been more than 24 hours. Should I be concerned?
    the eye doctor put the drops in

    Uhm, my dilated eyes went back to normal after a few hours.
    I think you should go talk to your optometrist.

    What r u doing? MMDA? or E?? or what..
    mmda can keep ur pupils dilated for a loooong time.

  4. Slightly concerned.... maybe they have gone back to normal size, but you just didn't notice. Usually it takes between 7 and 9 hours. If this continues, see a Health Professional.

    yeah you should have that checked out, they should only be that way for a few hours.... good luck

    According to this site and others I looked at, the dilation can last up to 24 hours.

    Your pupils will return to normal. It's not unheard of for some patients to take a very long time for their pupils to come back down. I've never heard of someone whose pupils remained dilated permanently.

    My guess is the doctor used cyclopentolate, which can make the pupils stay dilated longer.
