How long does it take NICOTENE from cigarettes to get out of your System?

    I have to have a total ankle replacement, and the DOCTOR said that smokers there bones want heal properly if your a smoker, He wants to do a Nicotene test on me before he will commit to doing the surgery. Can someone help me PLEASE? ADVICE NEEDED ASAP.!!!!!!!!!!! iF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT THE TEST PLEASE INFORM ME OF THE DETAILS.....THANK YOU VERY MUCH! HELP!

    a couple of weeks but it depends on how much you smoke a day also.
