I recently went dairy and soy free to improve and clear up my acne - and it has worked so far! But from what I understand soy messes with the endocrine system, and I'm wondering how long its effects will remain in my body as I am still having trouble with breakouts :(

How long does it take to get soy out of your system?

Unfortunately, that will depend on your metabolism and your body.
As a somewhat separate example, when people are dealing with allergic reactions to certain nutrients, some people feel better within a day or two, but some people take a week or two to get "back to normal" after they ingest an allergen... in other words, it takes that long for their body to metabolize out the nutrient they're having the reaction to.It may be more than the soy causing your breakouts (as hormonal fluctuations do that for many people throughout their life) and if any of your systems have been damaged by the soy (whether allergy or otherwise), that may take longer for your body to repair even after the soy is out of your system. If you aren't "all better" within a month, it's likely something else... just stick with it if you feel it's helping you. Good luck and I hope I helped!
